Hello! My name is John Darren D.Mendez. I am a Grade 11 student studying in the TVL strand. I was born on January 2 2009 in Quezon City. I am a kind, hardworking and responsible student.
My family takes care of me and my siblings with so much love, patience, and understanding, making our home a place where we always feel safe and supported. Our parents work hard to provide for our needs, guide us in making the right decisions, and teach us important values that help us grow into better individuals. They always make sure we are okay, whether it is by preparing our meals, helping us with our problems, or simply listening when we need someone to talk to. As siblings, we also show our love for each other in simple but meaningful ways, like helping one another with schoolwork, sharing what we have, and standing by each other during difficult times. Even though we sometimes have misunderstandings, we always find a way to fix things and stay strong as a family. Our bond is built on respect, care, and unconditional love, which makes our relationship special and unbreakable, and it continues to inspire me to value and cherish my family every day.
Online gaming and sleeping are my hobbies because they both help me relax and maintain a healthy balance in my daily life. Online gaming allows me to enjoy my free time by exploring different games, improving my problem-solving skills, and connecting with friends or other players, which also helps develop teamwork and quick decision-making. On the other hand, sleeping is just as important because it helps my body and mind recover from stress, restores my energy, and improves my mood and focus. By having enough rest and enjoying gaming in my free time, I am able to stay refreshed, motivated, and ready to handle my daily responsibilities.

When I was in Grade 6 and Grade 7, one of the most unforgettable achievements in my life was receiving a High Honor award. At first, I didn't really think I could reach that level because school was not always easy for me. There were many lessons that were difficult to understand, and sometimes I felt tired or unmotivated. But even with those challenges, I reminded myself that if I worked hard and stayed focused, I could still achieve something great. Every day, I tried my best to listen carefully to my teachers and complete my assignments on time. I spent many hours reviewing my lessons, studying for quizzes, and preparing for exams. Sometimes it was stressful, but I kept pushing myself because I wanted to make my family proud. My parents always supported and encouraged me, and their belief in me gave me the motivation to continue doing my best in school. When the recognition day finally came in Grade 6, I felt both nervous and excited. As the teachers started calling the names of the students who achieved High Honors, my heart was beating fast. When I heard my name being called, I felt so happy and proud of myself. Walking to the stage and receiving my award was a moment I will never forget. At that time, I realized that all my hard work and effort had truly paid off. The following year in Grade 7, I promised myself that I would try to achieve the same success again. I continued studying hard and improving my habits in school. Even when lessons became more challenging, I stayed determined and reminded myself of my goal. In the end, my efforts were rewarded again when I received High Honors for the second time. Those experiences taught me an important lesson in life: success does not come easily, but with dedication, perseverance, and determination, anything is possible. Achieving High Honors in Grade 6 and Grade 7 became one of the proudest moments of my student life, and it inspired me to keep striving for excellence in my studies and in my future.
